Fun and Competitive After-School Chess Club from the Founders of State and National Champions, Fallon Chess of Dublin

Returning for spring 2025, our already-popular (25+ members) Wednesday Chess Club will improve your over-the-board and critical thinking skills, let you socialize with friends and classmates, and compete for fun and prizes!

Whether you're an experienced tournament competitor, an online chess enthusiast eager to play in real life, or a beginner just learning the rules, this club is for you!

What We Offer:

  • Engaging Lessons: Enthusiastic professional coaches help you sharpen your strategies and tactics.

  • Competitive Play: Club tournaments and school-vs-school matches with opportunities to win trophies and other prizes.

  • Fun Variants: Learn exciting flavors such as Bughouse, King of the Hill, and Blitz.

  • Skill Development: Foster critical thinking, practice resiliency and other mental skills - all while having fun with friends.

About Us: Emerald Hills Chess is a Dublin non-profit dedicated to building critical thinking skills, camaraderie, and community through the world's most popular board game. We teach 300+ kids through 12+ after-school chess clubs and classes around the Tri-Valley, including our flagship program, state and national (online) champions Fallon Chess. We also hold popular, affordable monthly tournaments for youth and adults.

Discounts and Financial Aid:

  • Early Bird and Sibling Discounts: To make our program more accessible. Tuition is also prorated for late or partial session signups. $20 discount for additional siblings.
