Description

Emerald Hills Chess is a trusted non-profit whose founders combined have 20+ years of experience helping young learners excel over the board and develop critical mental and life skills.

Founded by the creators of the national online champions, Fallon Middle School Chess Club, Emerald Hills provides a safe, fun environment for 300 Tri-Valley students, from beginners to seasoned national-level competitors.

2025 will be our third consecutive summer holding week-long, half-day youth (Grades 1-12) summer camps.

These feature small (typically 4:1 to 6:1) group classes tailored to specific levels, taught by experienced, engaging instructors.

We will also hold USCF-rated tournaments, play fun variants like bughouse and blitz, and award trophies to the top finishers.
