Coach Fred has a 2500+ Chess.com rapid rating, defeating multiple internationally-titled players, as well as a peak USCF over-the-board rating of 1928 (top 5% of tournament players). Drawing equally upon his experience as a former professional basketball player and high-level tournament chess player, Coach Fred will help you hone an aggressive, flexible style that makes opponents crack under a barrage of tactics and constant pressure. Coach Fred has helped multiple players double their ratings from 500 to 1300. Coach Fred is open for both in-person and online lessons. Locations and times TBD at student's convenience.
Cost: $350 for five one-hour in-person lessons, $300 for five one-hour online lessons.
